Short course swimmers dominate

Kaitlin Hall and Linda Steward competed at the NSW Country Short Course championships at Sydney Olympic Aquatic Centre on July 12 and 13.

Kaitlin qualified for 6 events and was placed 7th in the 13 year old short course butterfly , 1:12.36, and 10th in the 200 metre individual medly.

She swam personal best times in all events and broke the elusive 30 seconds in the 50 metre freestyle, 29.76, for the first time.

Linda qualified for 4 events after a 3 year break from competing and was placed 10th in the women’s open 100 metre breaststroke.

Congratulations to both swimmers who are looking forward to continued training in preparation for summer.
